Driver App
Our delivery drivers may use a staff-only driver app to view and manage the deliveries assigned to them. It is not intended for use by the general public. The driver app collects:
- Login details — a username and password issued by Flaming Great Ballakebabs, used to sign the driver in.
- Order and delivery details — customer name, delivery address, phone number and payment details for the orders assigned to that driver, so they can complete the delivery.
- The driver's location — only while the driver is online (on shift). Only their latest position is kept, with no route history, and it is removed when they go offline. Customers see the driver on a map only while their own order is on its way.
- A push notification device token — used only to alert the driver about deliveries.
Driver accounts and their data are removed when a driver leaves or a manager deletes their account.
